Day 1: Nairobi – Amboseli National Park
You will have an early departure this morning for Amboseli National Park. Located on the Tanzanian border, Amboseli is one of the most scenic of Kenya’s wildlife reserves. Every vistor is dominated by the majestic,snow-capped peak of Mt. Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain. Animals photographed in front of Amboseli always look spectacular, and Amboseli has some of the highest densities and diversity of wildlife in Africa. Day 2: Amboseli National Park
Amboseli National Park is one of the best reserves in Africa for Elephant viewing, and you will be searching for them during this morning’s game drive. During the hot time of the day, when most of the wildlife is sensibly resting in the shade, you may wish to visit a Masai school – it is Kimbla-Mantana’s policy to sponsor the local communities in our areas and the children are always delighted when guests take an interest. After afternoon tea, a bush walk or if you prefer (this is your safari, the choice is yours), a game drive has been arranged, as have sundowners on the hill with views of Kilimanjaro glowing pink in the sunset. Day 3: National Park
A bush walk to visit a genuine Masai manyatta (village) this morning begins another perfect day. An afternoon game drive and a Masai dance at your campfire fill your day. Kimbla-Mantana Private Luxury Classic Camp, Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.

Day 4: Amboseli – Lake Naivasha
This morning you will drive north to the region of Lake Naivasha. On the way, you will stop for lunch at the famous Carnivore Restaurant in Nairobi. Your final destination is Malu, a small country hotel in a private forest reserve with fabulous views over Lake Naivasha. With acclaimed Italian cuisine, horse-riding, mountain-biking and walking, Malu is the perfect stopover for those enroute to the Mara. Malu, Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.

Day 5: Lake Naivasha
After breakfast, your choice of activities including driving to Lake Naivasha for a boat ride to Crescent Island Game Sanctuary fills the day. Crescent Island is a private game sanctuary, which is home to zebra, wildebeest, gazelle, vervet monkeys, hares, genet cats, waterbuck and giraffe. There are no fences and no predators. It is one of the few places in the world where one can wander on foot amongst wild animals. Enjoy the sunset with a pre-dinner drink at the Malu restaurant before a delicious Italian meal. Day 6: Lake Naivasha – Masai Mara Game Reserve
A scenic drive traversing the Mau Escarpment brings you to the Masai Mara Game Reserve, one of the best known and popular reserves in the whole of Africa. Your private camp is situated next to the Mara River and offers an abundance of cool shade and bird life. You will be greeted with chilled drinks and a cheerful welcome back from your camp staff. This afternoon, you will have a game drive, looking for lion and the big cats before returning to your exclusive camp for showers, sundowners and dinner. Days 7-8: Masai Mara Game Reserve
You will spend the next two days exploring the vast savannahs of the Masai Mara and viewing wildlife. This is Africa at its best, a perfect blend of magnificent scenery and abundant wildlife. Your guide will explain the animal behavior - and because of his expertise and experience, will take you to the best locations for the season to maximize your safari experience. Masai Mara is home to over one hundred species of mammals and more than 450 species of birds! Kimbla-Mantana Private Luxury Classic Camp, Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.

Samburu/Sweetwaters/L.Nakuru/L.Naivasha

Day 1: Nairobi/Mountain Lodge
Depart Nairobi in the morning and drive through Kikuyu countryside to the lower slopes of Mt. Kenya arrivingSerena Mountain Lodge (tree hotel) in time for lunch. Relax in the afternoon as you watch game from the balcony of the lodge, with an optional guided nature/forest walk. Overnight floodlit game viewing. Dinner and overnight at the tree hotel.

Day 2: Samburu
Depart after breakfast and drive further north across the equator to Samburu National Reserve arriving Samburu Serena Lodge in time lunch. Afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 3: Samburu
Full day in Samburu, a beautiful and game abundant park, home to rarely found species such as the Beisa Oryx, Grevy's zebra, blue-necked Somali ostrich and reticulated giraffe. Elephant and lion are also plentiful, and leopard are oftern seen. Morning and afternoon game drives, with an optional visit to a local Samburu village. Camel riding and guided nature/bird walks are available too, as optional activites. All meals and overnight at Samburu Serena Lodge.

Day 4: Sweetwaters Game Sanctuary
Depart Samburu after breakfast and drive back to the lower slopes of Mount Kenya - arriving Sweetwaters Tented Camp in time for lunch.
Afternoon game drive in the private sanctuary (Sweetwaters Game Reserve), including a visit to the Chimpanzee Sanctuary, the only one of its kind in Kenya. Weather permitting, visitors enjoy the unique opportunity of observing the chimps by boat on the Ewaso Nyiro River. You will also visit Morani the tame rhino and the Visitors Information Centre.
Return to Sweetwaters Tented Camp for dinner and overnight (with an optional night game drives).

Day 5: Lake Nakuru
After breakfast drive down to the floor of the Rift Valley - to Lake Nakuru National Park, making a brief stop at Nyahururu Thomson Falls. Arrive Sarova Lion Hill Lodge in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive in the park.
Besides the flamingos that the lake is famous for, there are approx 400 other species of birds visiting the lake. Also, many species of game can be found in the park including the introduced Rothschild's giraffe, black and white rhino, waterbuck, reedbuck, lion, buffalo, leopard, baboon and many species of plains game.
Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 6: Naivasha
Another morning game drive in Nakuru, then depart for Naivasha, arring Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge in time for lunch. Afternoon boat ride on Lake Naivasha and a walking safari at Crescent Island, one of the few places in the world where one can wander on foot amidst wild animals - there are no predators.
Return to Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Maasai Mara
Depart after breakfast and drive further along the floor of the Rift Valley to Maasai Mara, arriving Sarova Mara Tented Camp in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive as you get a taste of this vast game filled reserve. Dinner and overnight at the camp.

Day 8 & 9: Maasai Mara

3 DAYS NAIROBI AND MAASAI MARA


This is a short safari featuring Maasai Mara National Reserve. The safari departs Nairobi in the morning and involves a drive down to the the floor of the Rift Valley, making a stop at view point to see the escarpment and the awesome sight of the valley and the features there in. To arrive Maasai Mara in time for lunch, followed by a late afternoon game drive that introduces you to Kenya's most popular game sanctuary.

Departures: Daily, minimum 2 persons.

Day 1. Nairobi/Maasai Mara
Depart Nairobi in the morning and drive along the floor of the Rift Valley to Maasai Mara arriving in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at either Mara Sopa Lodge or Sarova Mara Tented Camp.

Day 2. Maasai Mara

Day 2: Samburu

Day 1: Nairobi-MaasaiMara.
0930hrs Depart from Nairobi for Maasai Mara Game reserve, picnic lunch enroute.On arrival proceed to the campsite/lodge. After a while, proceed for a game drive in search of Black manned lions, elephants, leopards,cheetah, Buffalos and other plain’s game. Back to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Maasai Mara.
0630hrs; After breakfast, proceed for early morning drive. Back to the camp for the lunch.1600hrs.After a further game drive, dinner and overnight at the camp.

Day 3: Maasai Mara.
Full day game viewing in the Mara with an option of nature walks or visit to a nearby Maasai village in between the meal breaks. Dinner and overnight at the camp/lodge, (An extra cost for Maasai village cost).The optional activities require prior arrangements with the drive.

Day 4: Maasai Mara-Naivasha.
After breakfast, leave lake Naivasha.After lunch visit Hells Gate National Park and the Geothermal power station, then to fisherman’s p/lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Lake Naivasha-Lake Nakuru.
After breakfast leave and drive to the home of the millions of the Flamingoes and the white and black rhino plus over 350 species of birds. Dinner and overnight at a budget hotel/lodge.

Day 6: Lakes Nakuru/Bogoria/Baringo.
Drive to Bogoria after breakfast where the hot water spring abound and plenty of medical springs. After lunch visit Lake Baringo.A boat trip to see various species of birds and very ancient caves (Boat’s ride takes an hour).Dinner and overnight at a budget hotel.

Day 7: Samburu.
After breakfast leave for Samburu via Thompson falls. Lunch en roué arrive late afternoon. Dinner and overnight at the campsite/lodge.

Day 8: Samburu.
After breakfast depart for an early morning game drive. Back to the camp for lunch, 16hrs.Onother game drive then dinner and overnight at the campsite/lodge.

Day 9: Samburu-Mt Kenya.
In the morning depart for Mt Kenya (Nanyuki) arriving in time for lunch. There after visit the Mau Mau Caves (where Kenyan freedom fighters could hide from the British during the struggle for independence) Dinner and overnight at a budget hotel/lodge.

Day 10: Mt Kenya/Amboseli via Nairobi.
After breakfast drive fast the biggest open air market in East Africa (Karatina).Proceed to Nairobi arriving in time for lunch in one of the restaurants. Proceed to Amboseli via Kenya/Tanzania border (Namanga) arriving in Amboseli late afternoon. Evening viewing drive. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 11: Amboseli.
Morning game drives before break fast.After breakfast have a whole day viewing game.
Optional: -Maasai village visit. -Nature walks.
-Swimming in one of the lodges.
(All at an extra cost)
Return to the campsite/lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 12: Amboseli-Tsavo west.
After breakfast drive via Chyulu hills to Tsavo west National Park arriving in time for lunch. Afternoon game viewing drive and a visit to mzima springs (The source of Mombasa drinking water).Back to the campsite/lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 13: Tsavo West-Tsavo East.
After breakfast drive to Tsavo East popularly known for its large number of Elephants, and the famous Man eating lions(during the building of the Kenya/Uganda railway construction 1890).Lunch on arrival. Game drive. Dinner and overnight stay at the campsite/lodge.

Day 14
Depart from Tsavo East to either Nairobi or Mombasa.

5 Days Aberdares.

Day 1

Depart from Nairobi through Kikuyu land to Nyeri in time for lunch. Explore the Provincial Headquarters onhe foot and later in the evening visit one of the local club for entertainment. Dinner and overnight in a hotel.

Day 2
Drive to Mweiga Park Gate Headquarters to pick a ranger (compulsory).Drive to Karura falls where the trekking starts.Trek through various options to Chania falls with picnic en route. Dinner and overnight in a selected campsite.

Day 3
Hike for 16kms to Wanderis and through various options with picnic lunch enroute.Dinner and overnight at a campsite.

Day 4
After an early head upwards through various options to satima summit, afterward descend to Wanderis road head for dinner and overnight.

Day 5
After breakfast leave the rangers via Wanderi Gate to Mweiga Park Headquarters where you drop the ranger. Drive back to Nairobi for your next destination.

4 Days Samburu / Nakuru

Day1: Nairobi/Samburu pickup 0900hrs.
1000hrs;Drive north via Mt Kenya past coffee plantations to Samburu game reserve noted for unusual reticulated Giraffe,Greveys,Zebra,Gerenuk and Somali Ostrich.Picnic,lunch and game drive enroute.Dinner and overnight at camp/lodge(1630-0830hrs).

Day 2: Samburu.
Full day spent in Samburu game reserve with early morning and late afternoon game viewing. Meals and overnight at the camp 0630hrs-0930hrs.1530-1830hrs.

Day 3: Samburu-Nakuru.
0630-0830hrs; leave after breakfast with game drive enroute.Drive past the Aberdare mountains to descend into the Great Rift Valley where Lake Nakuru is located.Picnic lunch enroute arriving late in the afternoon.Meals and overnight at a Nakuru hotel camp.

Day 4: Nakuru-Nairobi.
After breakfast proceed for game drive in Nakuru National Park.Have lunch and depart for Nairobi arriving in the afternoon.Intinerary available in reserve order.

3days Maasai Mara Game Reserve

Day1: Nairobi/Mara pick up 0900hrs From Hotel.
1000hrs; Leave from our Nairobi office for a journey south along the floor of the great rift valley.Lunch at Narok.Arrive late afternoon in the Maasai Mara Game Reserve. Set up a camp or check in the lodge.Early evening the game drive back to the camp/lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Maasai Mara
One day game viewing across (from0800-1830hrs)the rich tree studded grassland and rolling hills.The famous Mara is renowned for its great heards of plain games, black manned leopard and cheetah,numerous elephants and virtually every type of  wildlife to be found in Kenya.All meals and overnight at campsite/lodge.

Day 3: Maasai Mara/ Nairobi.
Pre breakfast game drive from 0630-0930hrs, back to the camp lodge for the late breakfast.Leave Maasai mara,lunch enroute arrive in Nairobi late afternoon.

1 Day Lake Nakuru National Park - 12 Parts

Lake Nakuru lies in the volcano strewn Rift Valley.The 160kms drive from Nairobi passes through highlands of the Kikuyu People before descending an escarpment into the  dramatic landscape of the great Rift Valley.Have lunch in the park and followed by an extensive tour of the park.Back to Nairobi, stop is made at lake Naivasha where tea is taken among the fever trees and where bird watchers will be delighted in the fantastic array of bird life.
