MANDA ISLAND/LAMU/MATONDONI/TAKWA (2½ DAYS)

DAY 01

Flight from Mombasa or Malindi Airport to Manda Island. A five to ten minutes boat ride will bring you to Lamu. Check-in at your hotel. At around 11.00am visit of the Museum. Lunch at your hotel or Manda Beach Club, thereafter at around 3.00pm boat tour to Matondoni followed by a Sundowner Cocktail at the wonderful Manda Beach. Dinner and overnight at hotel.

DAY 02

After breakfast you will enjoy a guided city tour through the Old Town of Lamu. Time for shopping or visit of Lamu Museum. Lunch at approximately 1.30pm at Manda Beach Club. After lunch at your choice, either additional tour/excursions to the Takwa Ruins or sunbathing/swimming at the beautiful Manda Beach. Dinner and overnight at hotel.

DAY 03

After breakfast, time for relaxing. Check out at 11.00am, lunch at 1.30pm and transfer to Manda Island where you will catch your return flight to Malindi or Mombasa.

NB: Time of boat tour to Matondoni will depend on the sequence of the tide.

Maasai Mara Air Safaris - 3 Days Masai Mara

Day 1: NAIROBI – MAASAI MARA
Picked from your Hotel and transferred to the Wilson Airport. Flight to Maasai Mara takes off at 1000 hrs. Check in time is 0930Hrs, with arrival at Maasai Mara airstrip 1045 hrs. You are met at the airstrip and transferred to Mara Sopa Lodge. After lunch at the lodge, you have an early afternoon free, before going for an afternoon game drive, from 1600 hrs till dusk.

The Mara offers wildlife in such variety and abundance that it is difficult to believe: over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. You will easily see lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffe, wildebeests, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, buffalo, leopard, many kinds of antelopes and elephant. It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place. This is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (Tanzania) in search of water and pasture. Following on their heels are the predators of the savanna- lion, cheetah, wild dog, jackal, hyena and vultures.

Day 2: MAASAI MARA
Early morning game drive in 4WD lodge vehicles. Return to the lodge for breakfast. Morning game drive for those who wish starts at 1000 hrs till midday. After lunch at the lodge you will have early afternoon at leisure. 1600 hrs - Afternoon game drive till dusk. Dinner and overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge

 

Day 3: MAASAI MARA - NAIROBI
Early morning game drive. Breakfast follows at 0930 hrs. You will be transferred with a game drive en-route to the airstrip for your flight to Nairobi departing at 1100 hrs. You arrive at Wilson Airport Nairobi 1215 hrs. Here our driver guide will meet you ready to transfer you to your Nairobi hotel.

Samburu is located north of the central mountains and the equator. This fascinating arid reserve is home to Grevy's zebra and reticulated giraffe, as well as Oryx, gerenuk, Somali ostrich and dik dik. You will have an excellent chance of seeing lion, leopard, cheetah, and elephant. Spectacular rocky outcrops, wonderful Domas palms and the shaded Ewaso Nyiro River, the life source for the Samburu reserve, make this reserve scenic.

Day 3. Samburu/Nairobi
After breakfast, Morning game drive, then transfer to the airstrip for flight back to Nairobi. Transfer at your hotel or transfer to the international airport for flight back
home.

Amboseli Air Safaris - 3Days Amboseli Flying Safaris

Day 01. Nairobi/Amboseli
Depart Wilson Airport in the morning and fly to Amboseli National Park. On arrival, to be met at the airstrip and transferred to Amboseli Serena Lodge with game drive en route. After lunch, an afternoon game drive followed by a bubbly sundowner at observation hill. Dinner and overnight at the Amboseli lodge.

Day 02. Amboseli
After breakfast proceed for an early morning game drive. The majestic and breathtaking Mount Kilimanjaro can be seen at this time. Return to lodge for late breakfast. The rest of the morning is at leisure. After lunch, an afternoon game drive follows. In the evening a Bush Bar-B-Que. dinner with entertainment by traditional Maasai dancers is the highlight of the day. Overnight at Amboseli Serena Lodge.

Day 03. Nairobi
After breakfast at lodge transfer to the airstrip to connect schedule flight to Nairobi.

AIR SAFARIS FROM NAIROBI / MOMBASA

The safaris are operated by light aircraft scheduled services from either Mombasa or Nairobi. While in the park all transfers and game drives are operated by tour custom mini buses with pop up roof for better viewing and ease in photography of the wildlife. All of these safaris can be extended by an extra night or more, on request.
